Who qualifies for Practicing Membership with the BCAK?

Degree and curriculum requirements include:Customize design

  • A four-year Bachelor of Science degree majoring in kinesiology or an equivalent discipline
  • Completion of all the defined core courses with a minimum grade point average of C- or better, along with an additional 16 elective courses covering a minimum of 10 course categories.

There are two different pathways to BCAK practicing membership, depending whether the institution (and program) you have graduated from has been approved by the BCAK. Other factors such as degree type, university attended, years since your degree was completed, grades and foreign graduate requirements apply for all applicants who do not graduate from an approved institutional program.
